Strong Response to DRILL-X

SYNEX TECH at INTERSCHUTZ 2026

Six days at the trade fair, international industry professionals, and strong interest in innovative firefighting technology: At INTERSCHUTZ 2026, we presented our DRILL-X drill-extinguishing system to an international audience of professionals from the fire service, rescue services, and civil protection sectors.   

 

Numerous in-depth technical discussions and the consistently positive feedback on our DRILL-X system made our participation at the trade fair a great success. The personal exchange with existing customers, partners, and new contacts from numerous countries was particularly valuable to us.

 

We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand and look forward to the projects and discussions that will arise from INTERSCHUTZ 2026.

Air Filter Cleaning in Action

SYN AIR AFC at INTERTOOL 2026

We showcased our SYN AIR AFC system at INTERTOOL 2026 in Wels. During live demonstrations, visitors were able to see firsthand how air filters can be efficiently cleaned and reused multiple times.   

 

The focus was on the economic benefits, longer filter service life, and the sustainable use of resources. The strong interest in our system resulted in many valuable discussions with industry professionals and new contacts from a wide range of sectors.

 

The positive response shows that resource-efficient cleaning solutions and the circular economy are becoming increasingly important in industry.

SYNEX TECH at LIGNA 2025

Innovation meets tradition

From 26 to 30 May 2025, LIGNA, the world's leading trade fair for the wood industry, will open its doors in Hanover - and we will be there! This year, we are not only celebrating innovations in woodworking and processing, but also 50 years of LIGNA.   

 

We will be presenting our SYN WOOD PTM system - a state-of-the-art, automated test laboratory for wood-based materials. This system tests MDF, HDF, OSB and chipboards for perpendicular tensile strength, surface soundness, raw density profile and moisture, thus enabling fast, reliable and standardised quality control.

 

Visit us at the joint stand of our partner FAGUS GRECON at stand C42 in hall 26. Experience our technology live. We look forward to your visit and a personal dialogue!

Again an award for drill-x

DRILL-X wins national award for design 2024

Our team and designer Gerald Fasching were surprised with the highest award for design on 16 May 2024 in the Museumsquartier in Vienna. The national award for design 2024 in the category ‘Industrial Goods’ went to DRILL-X.  

 

Design, ergonomics, functionality and manufacturing technology convinced the high-calibre jury and led to the award from 218 submissions from all over Austria. In the special exhibition ‘Best of Austrian Designs’, the DRILL-X can be viewed together with the other finalists in the Museumsquartier Vienna over the next few months. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Gerald Fasching, an industrial designer who spent years fine-tuning the product in an elaborate process with our engineering team.

7000 years of progress in culture & economy

Culture meets innovation & internationalisation

In the video project ‘Culture meets internationalisation & innovation’, SYNEX TECH was presented together with 13 other companies from the Salzkammergut region. The campaign was created in cooperation with the Austrian Economic Chambers Upper Austria WKOÖ Gmunden, the Export Center Upper Austria and Advantage Austria.  

 

The Salzkammergut is not only characterised by its beautiful landscape and traditional culture. The region also has a lot to offer in economic terms: internationally active companies that have deep roots in the Salzkammergut. The joint project has set itself the goal of combining culture and business and thus bringing the globally active companies of the Salzkammergut to the fore.
 
We are proud to work together with all companies in the Salzkammergut to generate local added value through innovation!

3rd place for SYNEX TECH

At the beginning of November 2023, the most innovative companies in Upper Austria were honoured with the upper austrian regional award for innovation. The family-run company SYNEX TECH GmbH from Bad Goisern came 3rd out of 89 entries with its DRILL-X drill-extinguisher. 

 

‘Research and development play a very important role for us as a special machine manufacturer. SYNEX TECH is backed by a highly motivated team that we are very proud of. It is therefore a great honour for us to receive the regional award for innovation with our latest development,’ says Anna Putz, member of the management. During the award ceremony, SYNEX TECH GmbH was also nominated for the national award for innovation.

SYNEX TECH GmbH wins the ACR Innovation Award

With the invention of the world's first drill extinguishing device DRILL-X, SYNEX TECH GmbH from Bad Goisern succeeded in winning the coveted ACR Innovation Award. DRILL-X is the world's first combined drill extinguishing device. It enables fire departments to extinguish fires that are difficult to access within seconds, without having to enter the source of the fire. This revolution in extinguishing technology was awarded the Innovation Prize of the research network ACR - Austrian Cooperative Research. The Innovation Award was presented by Federal Minister Martin Kocher, WKO Vice President Amelie Groß and ACR President Iris Filzwieser to SYNEX TECH GmbH and to IBS - Insitut für Brandschutztechnik und Sicherheitsforschung Ges.m.b.H .on October 19, 2022.

! 10th anniversary of SYNEX TECH GmbH !


We would like to thank all our business partners for the good cooperation and, of course, especially our employees for their dedication and great commitment from the bottom of our hearts.
We are looking positively into the future and hope to be able to realise our anniversary celebration next year.
As the Christmas party cannot take place this year due to corona, we have a lot of reasons to celebrate together in 2021, to have fun and to strengthen the already existing cohesion within our company even more.
